Looking For a Kitten in Kuwait

I’m seriously considering adopting a kitten! Does anyone know someone who’s looking for a nice home for their kitty? Please contact me.

Breeds I’m looking for:

  1. Silver Tabby British Shorthair.
  2. Siberian.
  3. Maine Coon.
  4. Turkish Van.

PS; only those who are serious. Please contact me. Thank you.

    • I don’t want to buy, I want to adopt!

I just don’t like it when people sell their pets, I mean instead of looking for a good owner with a nice home, the only thing they care about is money.

And that is just sad :/

  1. Are you sure you’re ready for this? Here are some things to consider:
-Male or female cat? Are you going to spay it? Is that even a fair thing to do? Does the “owner” have the right to do that? Is it moral?
    - Heat cycles. Do you have the patience to hear your cat crying all day and all night? Or will you do the same thing that some mean cat owners do where they lock up the poor animal in a room until the phase ends?
    - Will you spend enough time with it up to the point where you can understand how your cat is feeling just by looking at its face? Or will you be busy with work instead of playing with it?
    - Do you promise never to hit it or yell at it when it does something wrong? Or are you going to train it by following the practical steps responsible cat owners follow?

Cats can be a source of genuine love and friendship if treated with love and care. If you’re ready, then allow yourself to experience the joy of being a proud cat owner. N Good luck with that!

  2. Hi Nunu-San. Did you check out Gleamy Jewel’s cattery? They usually have beautiful litters mashallah but they quickly get reserved. I saw an ad yesterday saying they have 3 new ones out looking for homes I hope they’re still available. Check it out:

Piece of advice though is make sure you get them from a good breeder because when I got mine from a market, they were very poorly taken care of and it took me a long time and a big sum of money just to get rid of worms and diseases (which weren’t apparent until later on).

    Anyway best of luck.

  3. gleamyjewels was the one i told u about:)

i just wanted to comment on the “morality” of spaying cats that anon-guest brought up. if you have no desire to breed cats then spaying it is the RIGHT thing to do. why should you let your cats go through heat cycles if you won’t let them mate?! cats don’t have an innate desire to be parents so spaying them won’t make them feel deprived of not having a litter.

    • Dandoon & anon-guest,

Technically by theory it makes sense to spay but I never had the heart to do it :( I just couldn’t take them to the pet to get them castrated. Instead we gave them away for a relative before they entered their heat cycle. Their mother was with me for a while though during her heat phase and it was torture! :/

By the way Nunu, you can foster pets from PAWS too. I know those for sure allow you to foster them for a temporary period. The only downside is that they are located in a very far place. If you can find someone to drive you there that would be great. It’s mostly run by people who are very animal educated.

  4. Do you want some off the street?

The latest litter were born near my house about 1.5 months ago they just came out, very cute white/tabby boy and orange girl, the mother is relatively healthy as far as I know because we have her previous litter and now they’re about 6 months old, fat and healthy.

Let me know if you want them.

  5. I posted about cats adoption on the blog but sadly currently don’t have any, mostly were Persians, I haven’t seen any turkish van breed in Kuwait so far.

If I get any cats for adoption I’ll let you know right away :)
