Final Lap of My 20′s

29thbirthdayToday I’m starting the final lap of the second decade of my life and it feels pretty good. I turn 29 today and begin the last year of my twenties. Thank god I look younger than my actual age! Lol.

It all goes so fast. Just yesterday I was celebrating my 20th birthday. My twenties have held a lot for me. Now there’s just one year left and I don’t want to waste it worrying about the future in my final lap. God has blessed me with much in my twenties and I’m really thankful for all the gifts he’s given me.

Thanks to everyone for all the Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp love, you rock! I am seriously one lucky girl to have so many wonderful people in my life! 28 was an awesome year and I can’t wait to see what 29 has in store!

Life is Once

2011 has been full of shocking news and surprises, I’ve been to several funerals than weddings this year, and it got me thinking, there are so many inconsiderate people in the world. I mean, on your wedding, you wanna invite certain people that you wanna see on your happy day. But if you’re having a funeral, you’re surprised by the number of people showing up, and most of them you didn’t even think of inviting to your big day. It’s just when you want.. no, when you need these certain people to be there for you, They’re not.. they’re like a million miles away. And when you think someone is totally reliable and trustworthy and you’ve built your whole life around them and then it turns out they were never that person. The universe may not always play fair, but at least it’s got a hell of a sense of humor.

Sometimes the little things in life change something forever. And you realize the times in life that seems to be the worst, always turn out to be the best. Every day is another chance to change your life. And remember, there are no regrets, just lessons.
